Board Meeting Preparation Timeline

Overview

The Board Chair, CEO, and senior leadership all have a role in the steps leading up to the Board meeting. To ensure that Board members have ample time to review the meeting materials (sometimes referred to as the Board book or packet), materials should be distributed no later than five days prior to the meeting. Refer to the AFBG Annual Board Calendar example and the AFBG Sample Agenda for guidance on meeting preparation.
