Jackie is a communications and marketing professional, with more than 20 years of experience in journalism, nonprofit outreach and programming, and photography.
Her role as Marketing & Promotions Manager for Artsplosure in Raleigh, North Carolina served as her introduction to the nonprofit world. Jackie promoted the organization’s festivals and events, as well as its mission of “Art for All.” The experience left her with a passion for nonprofit work and the motivation to return to the setting.
She has written for various publications in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Illinois, and South Carolina, building a strong journalism background and writing portfolio.
Jackie is also a skilled photographer. In addition to shooting everyday life and family sessions, she has also freelanced for The Pennsylvania Center for Women & Politics at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Penn State University.
